Void SOULs are not the same as Monster or human SOULs, they’re the same terminology for different measures.
Bugs often drop more than one SOUL when dying, so unless they’re actually crazily overpowered, there’s no real reason to treat the two the same.
Also, Godseekeeeeeeer just traps all the OP characters in endless boss rushes.
Also, to clear things up, linguisticly anyways,
KNIGHT: The roaring knight.
Knight: The player vessel.
Hollow Knight: The Radiance’s vessel.
It is because the Knight absorbs parts of it, but, as they are animals, they have Monster SOULs
Think of Void SOULs as the same as a negative number:
It still has power, but if one with a normal SOUL absorb it, they will lose strength instead
