I very much agree with parts of what you’re saying, but I personally don’t believe dark fountains change the dark world exactly
What I imagine is that infinite dark worlds (not just in different locations, but including different ones for the same locations, like the two sanctuaries) run parallel to the light world in a sort of conceptual space, built off of different people’s perception and emotions
When a dark fountain is opened, what it does is to use the infinite creative potential of the darkness to override the reality lightners interact with with the opener’s dark world of that place
I also think that Kris’s dark world and the Knight’s dark worlds have the same lighting because they both share the same will, and, since dark fountains are made from determination, the will is the thing that matters the most
I think that the Knight also rejected the “heretical” types of darkners in Chapter 4, the philosophers, witches, and revolutionaries, who were turned to stone for not fitting its vision, which is because the Knight is a follower of the prophecy, while Susie is then in opposition to fate
One last theory section of this idea I have is that the reason King and Queen are so similar and are named in a similar way to the Knight is that they reflect the Knight’s will, they were made to play their roles and serve the Knight, and then Tenna breaks the pattern because he was made by Kris
So basically if the Knight made TV World it would have had Rook or something in it
