Though many songs only contain portions of motifs, King of Rolypoly contains too little material, or none at all, from this motif, having only the vaguest shape of it. The intervals - tones and semitones - just don't match up with "Hey Every". I think it should be removed from the list.

It's raining somewhere else doesn't match with sans, but it's very clearly meant to be sans!
It's the only melody in that song, it features something of a similar contour, and is very clearly sans, because it's playing in a song tied to sans.
King of Rolypoly is the exact same deal.
It uses the hey every motif because it's a motif tied to tenna.

I agree. The connection between Spamton and Tenna established in Chapter 3 makes it entirely plausible that they'd share a musical motif.
Listening to the two themes side by side, they sound far more alike than different. Musical ideas don't have to preserve every interval exactly to be related. They're often transformed to fit different characters or contexts while remaining identifiable.
I think they clearly share a motif, and it's likely an intentional musical choice rather than a coincidence.
even though the transforming doesn't always happen, i agree the motifs are too similar to keep apart
The beginnings are almost exactly the same and the rest is still somewhat similar (although i realize that's almost a stretch).
