Why is the Hidden Path to Clock Whip Puzzle named like that?

I searched for info on this "naming decision" and found nothing, I suppose it's called that in the game files, but I just find it funny and want to know if there's an explanation for the name? It seems like a random word jumble lol.
wiki page :p

I was the one who named it. I think I was restructuring some of the general Location sections based on landmarks or notable segments, so it would be easier to remember sections of the map.

For Forest, that section of the map wasn't split enough. I had split it because there was too much important things going on there, and it wouldn't help readers if they have to scroll more. Also the article used to look like this before me and some others overhauled it after the fork...

Unfortunately, I've found out via Discord that Deltarune's room names actually are not descriptive in the code... I recall chatting with both F-Sharp and Kocka about it, and F-Sharp actually shared a screenshot of the room names for TV World.

If you have a better name for the first and last area, feel free to suggest it! I went with "Hidden Path" since that was the only notable thing with the first room in that area. "Clock Whip Puzzle" was roughly the last area. It's just... the Ponmen whip spinning in clockwise.

OHH, that makes so much sense! I don't know how I didn't make those connections.
Thinking of a name I came up with "Rustling riddles (And Starwalker)", the starwalker inclusion can be debated but all the other rooms need literal riddles in order to "get what you want" (Seam tells you what to do in the first one and the sign does too at the last room). I don't know if it fits but at least it's a different word than "puzzle" :tennadance:

I see why you went with that name! It fits Seam's hint and it sounds nice. If only those rooms had more written riddles to them!
