I love King. He was our first serious adversary of the game.

I guess you have Titan, but I just feel like more of mood killer.

I feel like King’s introduction as a character was way too sudden. He didn’t really have any character/personality reveal, he was just suddenly… there. It’s the same problem as

Reclusa

From Mario and Luigi: Brothership; too sudden of a final boss reveal, not enough time for character development.

But with Queen and Tenna, there are constant encounters with them throughout the chapter, leading to you being able to learn more about their character before the final conflict with them.

Also, the titan doesn’t share this problem, as it not only has no personality, but was summoned by the knight, and there are several encounters with them throughout the chapter. While these encounters don’t really give much of a personality to the knight, they’re enough to make the knight the primary antagonist of chapter 4 who is just using the titan as a weapon.

(Can somebody please tell me how to get the spoiler blur in the middle of a sentence instead of on its own line?)

Well, having King show up earlier wouldn’t really work well either.

Unlike Queen and Tenna, he’s not exactly gonna become our ally later. Queen and Tenna LOVE Lightners whilst King detests them.

I'm a big fan of the mecha boxing match with the Queen. The grand scale amplifies the vibe, and the music slaps as well.

P.S. Okay, I may have misread the question as "favorite boss battle". Either way, my answer remains the same. I like her wine mom personality as well :)

I like Gerson as both a character and a boss. I'm ngl, he's the only Shadow Crystal Boss I (thought) I encountered naturally in my blind playthrough of Ch3+Ch4. Technically I encountered them both, but I just didn't know it. ALSO HE FRICKIN GOT ME WITH THOSE YELLOW ARROWS I THOUGHT THEY WERE GONNA COME BEHIND SO MY 1 HP AAA SUSIE GOT KILLED WITH ME HEROICALLY FACING THE SHIELD BACKWARDS RAAAAAAA! Also the 8 directions really just fangamed it up. I think I may have even shouted "IT'S A FANGAME! IT'S A FANGAME!!!" in my head when I saw it lol.

Bro, the gerson fight was just fun. like it was just the most enjoyable to me
