I remember seeing this video the other day where it was like

“Would you rather have a Naoya fan son or a Gojo fan daughter”
And the video was essentially a reaction, flaming the original video, saying stuff like “ahh yes what’s worse a daughter who likes a cool, well written character or a son who likes a misogynist bum” (it went smth like that)
And at first I agreed but then I realized that the video that the video was talking about was talking about the type of Gojo fangirls that squeeze used, bloody tamp0ns on their Gojo merchandise
And at that point now here’s the question:
“Would you rather have a daughter who will overly (most likely romantically) fantasize about Gojo, squeezing used tamp0ns on their Gojo merchandise and the like, or a son who likes a misogynist bum who only gets carried by his father’s special technique?”
And the person is obviously a Gojo fangirl and will not listen to reason about why maybe the Naoya fans aren’t worse
And that’s where I draw the line.
It’s fine if you have your own opinions and biases but if you openly don’t hear out both sides of the argument just because you don’t like the other side, you can go fuck yourself
(This is coming as a person who isn’t a fan of either Gojo or Naoya)

one guy said "I'd rather put a [I forgot what kind of pistol they mentioned but it was some kind of handgun] down my throat and empty the barrel then do this"
when given a worksheet that asked them to assign the definition of terms relating to LGBTQA+ with terms
that same person also posted on social media "if you're homophobic you were raised right" and didn't understand why he got negative backlash in the comments
so yeah
the students at my school are

I think what it is is that a bunch of offensive memes and jokes that are tasteful do seem kinda racist and homophobic (transphobic, etc.) but they are in good taste and usually the post or comedian isn’t actually racist, homophobic, or the like.
However, with teens being teens, they don’t really know what the boundary is for the jokes, seeing as how online they seem fine.
But,
Is just straight homophobia, and not a joke in good favor
(It’s probably not even a joke at all)
they dont joke about hating LGBTQA+
they actually hate it
