I’ve noticed that the humans page is linked on some pages on this wiki when humans are directly referenced. However, there are some pages that mention humans in their text, but never link to this page. How should we be deciding when to link it?

You can add the link to the “humans” article as long as it is not already present in an article. Usually it’s the first instance of the word “human” that should have it.
