This is completely unrelated to if they're Gaster or not, simply if the in-character tweets from the accounts are from the Voice. I think that due to the 2018 set, it would be reasonable to simply state it is the voice. "ON THE VERGE OF CONNECTION" followed by "ARE WE CONNECTED"? It's exceedingly obvious. The importance of this is that if this passes, we can use the tweets as sources for info on the Voice, like them thinking the player is looking for them and that they were looking for the player themselves, and that they "look forward to creating a new future". Again, completely unrelated to Voice = Gaster, that can stay in "Outside of Deltarune" (for now at least, who knows what Chapter 6 will bring).
I mean I feel like it's a strong enough implication that it might as well be directly said to us but idk
FWIW, we already attribute quotes from the tweets to the Voice on the Chapters' pages.
wuzzat stand for
That is true, yes, forgot about that. So we should stay consistent
For What It's Worth
@Link Thoughts on this? Since I have seen you are active on the Voice article.
I was largely editing the Voice article since it was a topic that was discussed in the Discord server two months ago, and I was partially familiar with it. I'm usually editing other articles.
I think that there can be a separate introduction paragraph giving an overview of what those headers are and mentioning the similarities. I did something like that with Deltarune's Release section.
This is not what I mean. I am discussing if we should be allowed to cite the tweets as sources on aspects of the Voice like its personality, which can only be done if we come to a consensus that the twitter takeover entity is identical to the voice.
Oh, right. I don't really see a reason to, we've had to keep things like Noelle's blog separate and not-citable in character articles outside of infoboxes, largely because Toby didn't consider them canon. The social media posts are largely similar in that context.
Even with things like making "NEW FUTURE"? I feel like this is quite notable, especially since the Voice's 2018 tweets directly lead into the Introduction
I realized my first response was still contextually correct since I was responding on the thread title and the first post too.....
It's still a no, because that would be like citing "Elly" in Dess' article when it is currently only mentioned in a secret newsletter URL. That had to be moved out for the article quote.
I understand. So, since we currently use the Voice's Twitter lines on every Chapter page as a quote, should these be removed for consistency? Keeping out-of-game material in out-of-game sections.
I have now changed the authors to these quotes so that they don't imply it's the same person.
