as you guys may know i'm on a pc and it has family controls because of course it does. And it keeps blocking random threads. I am now locked out of Off Topic Sanctuary. I'm trying to find a solution but it is really REALLY annoying and honestly so is all the other excessive parental controls and password protections on every electronic device in our home.
If anyone knows how to bypass this blocking of sites help, but I suspect I'll need parental help and as of right now my father who is the one in control of these parental controls is in the Adirondacks and not here. So yeah.
Honestly I'm just mad about this an I'd say it on OTS but like I said I can't access it.

If you're on Windows, press win+r, then this box should come up:
In the text space, type "PowerShell.exe" (case doesn't matter)
After PowerShell opens, type "net user administrator /active:yes"
That should work.
If it doesn't, restart your computer and enter boot options (press f12 while it's turning on)
Go to "Repair your computer" then "Troubleshoot" then "Advanced options" then "Command Prompt"
In command prompt, type "regedit"
In Regedit, go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SECURITY\Policy\Local Policies\Security Options"
Then, set "Accounts: Administrator account" status to Enabled.
Both of these will get you to administrator, and from there you can go anywhere and unblock anything.
I...that is devious and I am far too cowardly to test it.
