We discussed this in the Discord, but That Day does not have The Door. The "quote" is even more tenuous than TWR's intro.
I have attached an audio comparison for reference. The first is The Door vs. TWR, the second is The Door vs. That Day. That Day doesn't have any of the same intervals and doesn't even fall before rising from the first note.
As far as I can tell, it was unanimous that we should remove it.
Doesn’t That Day also have (please correct me if I’m wrong about this) the little melody that Black knife adds to its version of The Door at 1:23-1:25, 1:36-1:37, 1:49-1:50 play at 1:09-1:11 and 1:20-1:22? Or atleast some slight variation of it?
I know that that doesn’t automatically mean That Day has The Door motif, but I feel like it’s atleast evidence that it could be intentional.
That doesn't sound like the same rhythm to me, would you be able to isolate the two parts for a more direct comparison?

sorry that it took a bit for me to respond. i needed to do a few things and forgot about this for a while untill now.
i tried comparing the 2 melody's in FL, and while its not exactly the same, i think its close enough still that it could definitly be intentional, though im not as convinced as before.
Eh... like just like a kind of a descending and ascending contour, I don't think it means anything. Thanks for taking the time though!
