I love the epic reference to Sideways Stories from Wayside School! I didn't get what the Kris Tea and Noelle Tea were originally. I just thought I'd been ripped off while giving Kris & Noelle their own teas. I'm struggling to remember if I figured it out or had to be told by a friend or social media.
I do kind of regret that the teas are used in an RPG where the party members are all friends already. The only surprise information from this experience is that the Ralsei Tea heals Kris only about half as much as the Susie & Noelle Teas. (Make of that what you will.)
I actually did grow up with the book, albeit I'm much younger than Mr. Toby Fox. I was given the option to pick out a prize at the end of fourth grade for doing well in school. (I think it was because of my high reading level at the time.) I picked the Wayside book because I was familiar with the Nickelodeon show despite my being put off a bit by the illustration. I thought I might as well pick something. I didn't know it was such a great read until I started reading it that summer!
I just wanted to share this with everyone. I realize this is a narrow topic, and the title isn't very interesting. I just think the teas are neat!
