Is it worth noting on Leitmotifs (or is these even a coherent observation) that in songs related to both Lancer and Susie (See Lists) the first few notes of the melody bear similarity? I figure this is intentional given their relationship.

I thinketh not. Lancer and Susie do have a strong bond in the game. While not identical, toby probably gave them similar motifs as a nod to this.
They're not. Susie's is 1-3-4-7, whereas Lancer's is 1-3-#4-5.
