Suggestion: make the page borders into the borders used on console

the title is kinda self explanatory. since both are borders that are essentially buffers for the thing youre actually here for, it feels appropriate, plus they just look very nice. heres a rough mockup i made for both wikis:

there is something to note, which applies to both the "new" border and the current borders: if the window is less wide than the size of the border, the image doesnt resize nor center, which leads to the center of the image not being at the center of the page.

the obvious next thought is "what if we change the borders based on the page?", and i dont know if it is even possible; however, if it is, i am more than willing to put my money where my mouth is and assign borders to pages myself.

Aqua Wave * Oh I like this idea. I like this idea a lot.

I would personally prefer being able to just choose borders as a customisability option instead of varying by page.

But I know some people would want it to vary by page so I just think it'd be nice if that is what happens to still be able to choose.

Aqua Wave * Oh, I didn't notice they mentioned changing per page. I dunno about that.

honestly im very neutral on changing it per page, it just feels like a thing people might want because of the borders being dynamic in-game. i am in favor of being able to choose which border you want though

TO: i dunno about change per page but i like this idea

SPLATOON MENTIONEDDDDD NGNGNGNGNG I CAN'T HOLD MYSELF NYAHHHHH

I vote with this idea its a very cool thing
But maybe only for computer? In Mobile there isn't that much void space.

im pretty sure mobile doesnt have the borders in the first place

@KockaAdmiralac

this is very much an idea worth considering imo

I'd say it'd just be default border fitting the light/dark mode setting selected, and you can change it in settings

Let's make multiple Light/Dark styles akin to UT Yellow wiki

How about toggling between borders changing depending on the page and choosing one yourself? That way everyone's satisfied

:friend: :+1:

dude... we already have multiple themes for both light and dark
look in your preferences

the idea for the choice between dynamic themes and choosing a specific one is good, I think, since that's actually how it is in Undertale.

Why exclude it to just those pages though?

TO: its a draft

great iedea

bumping this because it got a fair bit of support :kriswiggle:
