So when talking with Spamming on in his shop, you can ask him about the knight. But before he can say anything, he stops and talks as if somebody is threatening him. I think that in this case, since we can’t see Kris, they are threatening Spamton so that we (the player) can’t learn anything about the Knight, since Kris likely works for the Knight.
Yo I actually made a theory relating to the knight guys
W theory, I like the idea that ofc Kris is aware of our presence and what information we retain. Leading to him (In an assumption) threatening Spamton not to reveal any vital info on what or who the Knight is.
I also wonder whether there are more examples of Kris trying to threaten others into not saying or doing something. For example with Noelle in the 2nd part of the Weird Route and so further on...
I'm not sure if they WORK for the Knight, but they're surely trying to hide the Knight's identity from us.
