Appearantly we need someone to have a look at the code for obtaining the Light Candy (chalk) since it seems kinda inconsistent? Here's the video so you can see just what I mean

I did update the Light Candy article and listed it as a stub a few days ago, because yes, there’s something weird about it for console versions.
Mainly in that the code indicates console versions get a little special privilege that apparently makes Noelle give the Light Candy on an [EMPTY] file/did not use a Completion FILE slot. Which isn’t normal for PC versions…
My main Switch account has it where she gives the Light Candy on an [EMPTY] file, but I’ve been trying to figure out what’s been causing it. Because somehow it’s permanently set to the above code condition, even if I skip talking to Noelle in the Completion FILE.
It’s seemingly not just talking to her about Light Candy in the 2021 Demo, so I’ve been on-and-off on manually checking through other things… it’s not fun fighting King multiple times.
Oh and for a little more context on what happened with the testing and the article: SnorlaxMonster and I have tried to look into this back in July, he was the one who noticed the oddity without seeing the code itself. I even manually did Chapter 1 runs in the Switch 2021 and 2025 demos, the Mac LTS version…
ceruleanwarbler2 helped a bit for checking PS4 and PS5 for Chapter 2 without a Completion FILE…
Jacky720 was the one that later checked the code and brought up that it’s a console exclusive, He assumed maybe something about global.game_won changed back in July? But he can’t check it without the code for the Switch versions…
