So I was at a holiday family gathering today, and something happened

Every year, they do a White Elephant Gift Exchange (where you can steal gifts from other people, don't ask it's a whole thing) and when the 7th person was supposed to go get or steal a gift, almost everyone in the room (mostly adults and old people) erupted into a joint "SIX SEVEN!"

I have lost all respect for everyone there. Luckily my parents and Grandma didn't, so I don't have to hang my head in shame.

Oh god. I can’t imagine having to go through that traumatic experience.

Just from reading that...
I am forcibly reminded of the holocaust.

It was towards the end, luckily.

It'll take a while for them to re-earn my respect though. Their excuse was "Now that you kids don't wanna say it, that gives us the right to" or something stupid like that.

But I suppose it is an old person's job to make us kids cringe as hard as possible...

Bro what

What do these two things have in common?

Traumatic experiences.

Holiday Family?

At a gift exchange I got a huge collection of king size Kit-Kats.

Nice.

Nice.
