So about the hand dialogue

Spoilers for both Chapter 3 and 4 and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

So, in all of the chapters we've seen, there are a lot of implications of Kris losing their hand at some point, metaphorically or literally. I haven't seen anyone bring this up yet, and I MAY be going insane, but just hear me out

First, here's an overview on Harry Potter. There is this scene where Pettigrew was bringing Voldemort back to life. In order to do so, he had to use the bone of Voldemort's father, Harry Potter's blood...and his own hand.

Kris is known to be working with the Knight, like how Pettigrew was working with Mr No-nose man. So, I'm just thinking, what if the later chapters might go down with something like this? It also does appear to seem like the Knight or Kris probably need the soul for something, based on the phone call. I'm not sure, I can't really remember.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Or have I officially gone insane?

After "beating" the Knight, it will strike down Susie and Ralsei, but not Kris. Kris only pretends to be struck down afterwards.

Before Tenna's battle, he says that he was trying to keep the heroes busy for the Knight's sake. In the Sword Route, we learn that he was doing it because of a deal he made with Kris.
