It’s not about necroposting, it’s about going off-topic. If you’re necroposting, at least make your reply relevant to the discussion. If the original question was already answered, then don’t necropost at all. Your off-topic reply is only going to be more annoying if you’re necroposting at the same time.
And off-topic discussion is against the rules.
