For those who don't know, a pretty big debate in the fandom is whether or not the "freedom motif" has Gaster's Theme in it. I personally believe that it explicitly does, as the four exact notes that comprise Gaster's Theme appear in the motif multiple times: once in the "A" part, once in the "B" part, and twice in the middle part not mentioned here (five times if we count variations). I'm assuming it hasn't been added to the wiki for being "too speculative", but if we only count exact matches that are immediately apparent, most of the songs with Tenna's motif don't include it. Gaster's Theme, intentional or not, is OBJECTIVELY in the freedom motif. It should absolutely be mentioned.
THE WORLD REVOLVING has two exact matches for the "up a half-step, up a fifth, down a fifth" pattern of Gaster's Theme (neither of which are in the "freedom motif" part). I highlighted them here in red:

I don't think counting variations of the melody is reasonable, since it's four notes. It's so simple that you can find "variations" of it everywhere. Even the exact note-for-note matches seem just coincidental—even with it highlighted in the music, I can't hear it as Gaster's Theme (it just sounds like TWR).

Listen to the part in-between the two freedom sections in THE WORLD REVOLVING. It's so clearly Gaster's Theme, just with a little more variety. I have a very hard time believing that's unintentional (especially with all the connections the Shadow Crystal Bosses have with Gaster).

Even if it was an intentional choice, it's so small that there's no point in talking about it.
What is this mentality? This is a wiki dedicated to fully cataloguing all the information about this fairly small game. Nothing is too insignificant to cover.
Also, I really do hate to sound like a broken record, but it's four pretty unusual notes, repeated multiple times throughout the melody, and to top it all off, in a motif specifically for the characters with the most Gaster allusions out of the whole cast.
This just isn’t true. We have noteworthiness and speculation standards, because if we were to include every possible piece of speculation our articles would grow incredibly long and become hard to navigate.
It may or may not have been intended as Gaster’s theme, but since it’s only four notes we can only speculate. And speculation like that has no place on the wiki.

Obviously I didn't mean nothing, but something like this is fairly major. We have a list of leitmotifs for a reason.
As for the point about it being speculative, this is roughly the same as how we point out the evidence for Dess Knight without specifically concluding that it's true.
Buddy. The "Your Best Nightmare" leitmotif has SIX. The "Titan" leitmotif arguably has FOUR. What's your point?

Eh, I'd argue that if we assume WingDings labelled "him" are concretely Gaster, so is the Voice.
He’s not named in Deltarune, that’s the problem. The closest is probably calling that article “Him” at best, like he’s some Powerpuff Girls villain.
I'll say, you have a good comparison here. Those two motifs appear where they should with a purpose and are very obvious — the Titan motif appears in Titan-related songs, and the Your Best Nightmare motif appears in Flowey-related songs. What you are referring to as Gaster's theme being in the freedom motif makes sense since the secret bosses have a """Strong""" connection to Gaster.
The problem is that the entire basis for this belief is pure speculation. If we find out that Gaster does exist in Deltarune and is heavily involved with the secret bosses, there's a good chance that Gaster's theme being in the freedom motif is intentional. However, seeing as it's such an easy progression to make, it could just be a complete accident, and we can't really be sure.
My point is, there's no point in clogging up the trivia by saying "Yeah, this sounds kinda close to this, and it might be important," when there's a good chance it's just accidental.
