end of spamton’s A melody seems to be roots.
makes sense due to roots’ connection to mike/friend.
other songs it appears in:
NYCTBA
Air Waves
Maybe Catswing i don’t remember
so yeah
anyone back me up and I’ll chuck it on the leitmotifs page

I saw people discuss this on twitter a while back and someone even made a comparison between the two
I think it might be intentional though I’m not an expert
Someone call the Leitmotif guy!
Ok im here what’d i miss
ok twitter said yes good enough for me
I though Vexodus didn't like people finding random motifs in soundtracks
teasing btw
when they’re wrong and make no sense and I hate them, yes >:3
teaser presentation
Can you get the notes and interpret those
If not then you’re not going off of any more than the rest of us
will do!
Okay, thank you
Roots:
E-Eb-B-C-G
Spamton:
E-Eb-A-C-Gb
Very very close. I’d say the likelihood is that Spamton’s theme DOES in fact feature a variation of the roots motif.
3/5 notes match
What about the intervals?
they go up and down in the same places, if that’s what you mean.
it also passes the Rainingsans test.
Rainingsans test being a good way of judging if something is a leitmotif or not. If the notes sound similar but don’t quite match, but the melody is the focus point, then it’s most likely still a leitmotif, as with the sans motif in “It’s raining somewhere else”
While the notes are in quick succession, they are the focus of the A Section of ‘Spamton’.
Ok, so Roots is in Spamton
DING DING DING!
Sorry Vex had to
god damn it
I like how Vexodus is both a serious wiki user and also extremely quotable
