Roaring Knight

Alright so I'm playing deltarune for the 3rd time and I finally got the shadow mantle. The thing is I keep dying to the knight, I'm not trying to cheat by opening app data or anything but he’s really hard for me. Can anybody give me tips to help? Im doing pacifist and I've already spared tenna so I can get straight to the knight. These are the current armors I have, if you can tell me how to get better armors or weapons pls do so.

These are also my items if necessary.

Put the mantle on Susie, and defend with Kris and Ralsei while doing rude buster with Susie. You can occasionally attack with Ralsei if you have a lot of tp, and use Kris to heal. DO NOT use the holdbreath act. It just makes it harder to control your movement. But most of all, just practice dodging the attacks. You’ll get there eventually.

By a lot of tp, what do you mean. I'm assuming you mean around 80%-100%

Also what should I do in the 1st round? Attack with everybody or just defend all.

Hold breath with Kris then attack.

(W/susie and ral)

Dapixil told me to NOT and I kind of agree that it makes your movements jittery.

Defend Kris, attack with Susie, defend with Ralsei

If you do have enough tp for rude buster then attack with Susie instead

And yes I mean at least 80 tp for attacking with Ralsei, it can differ though.

And like I said earlier, don’t do hold breath, I found it a lot easier to dodge attacks without it and it wastes a turn

And just call me Pixel for short

huh

All hold breath does is make you faster, and trust me, even though it feels off at first, once you get used to it, you will be very glad you use it

So any armor tips / items?

Idk what happened there, I’m on my phone so autocorrect was probably to blame

The part I really get stuck on is the sword part. I'm not talking about the slow one. Im talking about the fast one. Same with the sword sans part where it puts a lot of swords kind of like sans attack.

Also I suppose that hold breath is different for each person, I found it that it only harmed me

There is only one solution to that, and that’s practice. Or maybe updating as the hitboxes were janky on the first few versions

I guess although for me it doesn't really do a difference. Also I COULD practice but I would need some type of simulator where it would repeat the attacks and if you died it would do it again, kinda like Bad Time Simulator and hows their a practice mode

No, by practice I mean just do the fight again and again and again until you can.

It’s how I did it, and it’s how everybody’s done it.

There aren’t simulators for everything in life anyways.

Do you want footage of me attempting and you could like give me some tips? :tennatwirl:

I can’t really give tips on specific attacks because I don’t work like that

I would link a guide but the only one I know was made by Sh*yy, and I’m guessing you know what happened there
