Why when i type “:”+“)” it automatically turns into the emoji version? I think it’s pretty annoying. If i want to use

I honestly do not know how to fix this. However, you could try putting in spaces like this:

Yeah, looks like the software requires you to have at least one alphanumeric character in your post and doesn’t let me change that. But at least the emoji issue should be fixed now.

Of course! The software we’re using for Discussions has so many configuration options and we haven’t explored them all yet, so if something seems odd there might be a way to change that using an option we haven’t discovered.
