I've saved on save file 1 and 2 and I've noticed a difference I haven't seen anyone mention?
That monster standing in front of Asgore's shop changes between save files. In 1, it's that cat. The white and black one. I can't remember what monster design it was exactly in 2, but it was definitely different. A cyclops or something, I think? I may be getting it mixed up with something else, but I know it wasn't the black and white cat.
I wasn't sure if I should put this in wiki discussion or feedback. Let me know. Also, I'm not even sure which wiki I'm on. It keeps redirecting me to undertale even though I went to deltarune to post things. I don't know what's going on there.

First of all, which chapter are you talking about? The npcs in town vary between chapters, so in order to know what ur talking about we need to know the chapter.
I get what you're talking about (the business manticore and the orange loox) but I think that the first is there in chapter 2 and the second is there in chapter 4 no matter the save file
Why don't you check the wiki? If the npc did depend on the save file then that would've been 100% documented
As far as I remember the only things that differ depending on the save file is the contents of Asriel's drawer in chapter 1 and the TV Dinner's description.
Yeah, I'm not sure, I was certain it was in the same chapter, and that they were different from each other. But Maybe it was just 2 and 4... it's just. I played all the way through chapters 1-5 on both save files, and I only saw the white and black cat, business manticore or whatever, on 1 and only saw the orange loox on 2.
So even if they are supposed to be in different chapters, why did I never see the loox until I played through all the way in save file 2? Maybe I'm just confused, but like. I was going everywhere, talking to everyone all the time. I went to Asgore's shop as much as I went anywhere else, so one would think I would've seen both in the same save file.
I did the whole 1 and then started save file 2, so it's not a matter of going back and forth and getting confused which one it was. I finished 1 and left it behind for 2.
EDIT: Sorry, I meant to say I played through 1-5 on save file 1 and started playing through 1-5 on save file 2. But I only got to chapter 2 in save file 2 when this happened.
It says on the wiki that they're supposed to show up in chapters 2 and 4. But I have gone from everyplace to every other place in save file one, at every available opportunity. So I shouldn't have missed the orange loox in chapter 4 or whatever, and yet it wasn't there. I never saw it in save file 1. Then I moved on to save file 2 and it was there. I don't know what chapter it was there, but I suddenly saw a different monster and thought that was probably something on the wiki. Looked it up and saw no information recorded about the situation. So I'm just a bit confused.
I may just be getting my timeline mixed up, as I only played to after chapter 2 with save file 2, so maybe I saw the loox in chapter 4 of save file one and I'm just confused? I'd have to go back in, replay and see what's there.

Someone else pointed out it was the Loox, so it was that one. But like, I could swear that I only saw the black and white cat, the manticore thing on save file 1, no matter the chapter. And then save file 2 was the loox. But I have to go back and replay the chapters to find out.

Loox appears there in chapter 2 and the manticore in chapter 4
