Is the lack of Mettaton mention due to incompleteness of the page, or is this due to the "speculative content" rule?
I'm not saying we should outright say Nobody is Mettaton in their wiki page. But is the rule on speculation really that strict that we can't point out the similarities other than their speech? Similarities like the house and the machine NEO...
While, again, I'm not asking that we should outright say it's probably Mettaton, even that doesn't seem to break the wiki policy:
Speculative content is allowed only when thoroughly backed by facts.** If something seems far-fetched, don't add it to the wiki.
At the very least, it'd be nice to add in their Trivia section that Nobody's house is similar to ghost, pre-robot Mettaton's in Undertale.
(Also, I don't think they're ever actually called "Nobody".)
Just to be clear, I'm not against using "Nobody" as a moniker, but the page doesn't really make it clear that it calls them "Nobody" because we don't have a name for them, and the page uses it often that the name sticks. Fans like us recall they don’t have a name given, but others - even casual fans - might actually believe they’re called “Nobody”. Something like (to be nicknamed "Nobody" for this page) at minimum; there’s probably a cleaner way.
Anyway, I pointed that moniker out since it feels a little inconsistent with the apparent extreme adherence to the “Speculative content” rule. Of course, again, that might just be out of incompleteness rather than a strictness to policy.
Xander quoted the reason. “Nobody” isn’t properly named yet. That, and we don’t know if the character will go by “Hapstablook,” which is hinted as his ghost-self’s name, or Mettaton. Both names are redirects right now.
Something similar happened with Carol before she was fully named. There was only a small section about her in Hometown/NPCs for a while.
Since the character hasn’t visually appeared yet and there’s only dialogue, yeah. That house shape is shared with both Napstablook and Mettaton’s house. When F-Sharp uploaded the house with the file name, it’s “bg_building_blookhouse” too, and we ended up renaming that subheader in Hometown.
The whole mentioning “Spamton NEO” text is a little out-of-place, but that’s likely to be addressed in a later Chapter… it’s already there.
We could probably have a note mentioning that “Nobody” is not the character’s official name, though.
That'd be nice! I would do now or soon, but now it's on my lower priority/urgency (I'm supposed to be busy on something else IRL now...holidays.)
So I guess it's already a bit speculative? Or is it just kinda obvious already for fans that it doesn't need to be mentioned? If the latter I think it's worth mentioning it briefly in the Trivia since there are non-fans who would refer to wikis like these who don't have context of the previous game.

I figured it’d be ok to add the latter since I was thinking about how writing needs to be more precise sometimes, like with the Spin Cake article a while back.. thanks for bringing it up!

I was going to ask about the house being part of the Trivia... then realized "Blook House" is a pretty good indicator.
My personal preference would be to put just a bit more Mettaton mention, but that's just my preference. I think this is enough... I can't quite pinpoint why it feels that way, I guess a bit of a treat for Undertale fans and isn't supposed to be obvious for fans who are for some reason playing Deltarune without knowing enough Undertale to know Mettaton...
I do agree that it’d be nice to add more context on Mettaton... but I think that’d be more likely to happen when we learn more from the later Chapters!
