Mistletoe berries in BromideR?

I could be overthinking it, but there's what seem to be Mistletoe berries in the Seven Flowers bouquet.

Combined with Noelle's unused title for Chapter 5 being Mistletoe, and the MistleWP item from the chest in Cliffs, it is interesting.

(Mistletoe is both a nickname Rudy uses for Noelle in chapter 5 proper, as well as a thematically relevant plant to Rudy in general via funny alarm clock dialogue where Asgore talks about Rudy btw.)

it's probably nothing but cool detail!

I actually wouldn't say it's 'probably nothing' when Noelle's Title (unused) for Chapter 5 is like that + her weird reaction to the Flowery items.

LV5 Mistletoe
Things got
serious today.

* Hey ho, mistletoe! How's it going with your...?

* FINE, Dad!

* (Just so you know, Dad... I brought Susie over yesterday.)

* (And I... I made her play the guitar. Mom saw, and...)

* (I know, mistletoe. She told me.)

Mistletoe is almost always associated with the Holiday family thus far, so it's funny how it's showing up in the bouquet and also as a one-off whip weapon in flower kingdom.

"A parasitic ivy whip with a nature's power. Only experts can use it as a scarf."

deltarune wiki already mentions the breath of fire Spar connection so i shall not do so here, but I will say that everyone should get into botany more, because Mistletoe is a fascinating plant.

ok yeah mistletoe is cool

fun fact : there are mistletoe species that grow in cactuses, but the species present in BromideR is most likely Viscum album!

Viscum? Like, as in linguistically close to Viscosity?
I notice the word album...I don't know what those linguistic roots are...
I might do some research after my math work...

Yeah, it's named that because the berries are sticky, that's part of how the berries spread.

Sticky
Like Kawkaw saliva...
Kawkaw ate missiletoe to get sticky saliva
:friend:

the berries are sticky so birds will either clean the berries off on a branch or eat them, so perhaps.

Oh! I am realizing I put this in deltarune discussion and not 'wiki discussion'.

Would it be worth it to bring this up in wiki discussion, because the fact there's Another Plant in the bouquet that otherwise is the seven flowers feels kind of... relevant, doesn't it?

I mean, sure.

wait, how'd we come to the conclusion the missiletoe berries are in the bouquet?
:friend:

as in... how i saw the white berries in the bouqet? or how i ascertained/figured out they were most likely mistletoe from context clues?

oh I see it now, I do not think it was in the actual bouquet; probably just a stylistic choice, I think
:friend:

This is why the title of this thread is 'mistletoe berries in BromideR' and then I specify that in BromideR they are in the seven flowers bouquet.

The seven flowers bouquet that is in BromideR. BromideR's mistletoe berries. :3

I think you mean missiletoe berries
