I'm putting this as feedback since the work on leitmotifs' pages impacts all soundtracks' pages.

The organization of the Undertale Wiki leitmotifs page, regarding some motifs' name, is a bit outdated, don't you think?. Deltarune Wiki organizes them in a different way, notably by dividing them in parts. Some of us corrected this on the UT Wiki page: before that, it was already accepted for "Once Upon a Time", and I remember a time "Snowdin" motifs were divided between "Snowy" and "Snowdin Town". This leads to my next point: Mettaton's motifs should be classified as parts under his name.

Mettaton is the only main character (excluding Frisk and Chara) whose name is not mentioned with his leitmotifs despite having four: "It's Showtime", "Metal Crusher", and the two "Hotel" motifs. This comes from the old classification of motifs under the theme's names for characters (Toriel's theme as "Fallen Down", Papyrus' as "Nyeh Heh Heh!", etc.). On Deltarune Wiki, the four Queen motifs are not divided between "Queen" (part 1 and part 2), "A Simple Diversion" and "Cool Mixtape", so why do we keep these divisions for Mettaton's?

Of course, I know leitmotifs' subdivisions follow some unspoken rules to connect two motifs as parts of what they represent, even if used independently for some themes: one of them is that if the second part is not used in the first track, it must be used at least in two other tracks that are not simple arrangements of each other.

For this, we'll exclude the "Hotel" motifs, since they're already organized in two parts, and stick to "It's Showtime" and "Metal Crusher" which would become the parts 1 and 2 of "Mettaton". The final result would look like this:

- _It's Showtime_ - 0:00-0:29 (part 1)
- _Metal Crusher_ - 0:03–0:20 (part 1, with variations and changes in note values without syncopation); 0:20–0:37 (part 2); 0:37–0:53 (part 1, same variations)
- _Live Report_ - 0:03–0:07, 0:09–0:12 (part 1, syncopated to 6/8)
- _Death Report_ - 0:03–0:05, 0:08–0:10, 0:13–0:16, 0:19–0:21 (part 1, syncopated to 6/8); 0:24–0:45 (part 1, variant, syncopated to 6/8)
- _Last Episode!_ - 0:00–0:06 (part 2)
- _Death by Glamour_ - 1:04–1:30 (part 2); 1:30–1:56 (part 1)
- mus\_tv - from 0:00 (part 1)

I was thinking about adding "CORE" as a part 3, but it might be overkill.

And what about you guys? What motifs do you think should be reorganized?

I agree with this tho I don’t think hotel and core should count as a mettaton motif

You're right, I knew putting either of these motifs under Mettaton's name would be too much anyway. The essential is that we agree on a better presentation for his "main" motifs.

I generally dislike the use of unofficial names for leitmotifs, but since this is a wiki dedicated to a specific fandom, i think it is reasonable to name the characters themes (in this case, leitmotifs) after the characters names themselves, as that is how most people know them (same way as the Don't Forget leitmotif is referred to by the name "Don't Forget leitmotif").
