We made an account specifically to discuss this. We've noticed that there's been a bit of back and forth editing on Pink's page to include and then remove mentions of plural identity under the bullet of her trivia section that mentions dissociative disorders. For full transparency, the unregistered account that initially added that mention was us. However, someone else ended up re-adding it after it was removed. Mention of plural identity was then subsequently removed from Pink's page on this edit, which left no summary.
Syscourse is an extremely exhausting topic, especially when you are plural like we are. As we were the ones who initially added a mention of the plural subculture, we would like for it to be added back, but since the page is semi-protected now, some discussion about it is probably necessary.
Our argument is that while the existence of nondisordered plurality is controversial within DID/OSDD communities, that should not matter for contexts of mentioning it on a Wiki page. Furthermore, the DSM-5 literally mentions in the diagnostic criteria for dissociative disorders that people whose plural experiences relate to personal beliefs (such as, but not including spiritual beliefs) should not be diagnosed with a dissociative disorder. Yes, non-disordered and non-traumagenic forms of plurality are "controversial" in some pockets of the plural community, but there are some pockets of the trans community in which being nonbinary is controversial, but there's no issue mentioning nonbinary identities on this Wiki.
Therefore, we think mentioning plural identity/the plural subculture belongs on Pink's page.
