Wait 10 replies (replies grinded for this purpose don't count) before developing a new invention. When starting a new initiative, roll 1d20, but when it's not that hard to succeed you can just say what your action is. Nuclear technology, anything that can 1-hit a continent, and reality distortion technology is banned. The game will start simply at first but when an aspect is brought up (e.g population) all countries will be affected by it. Everyone starts with a population of 1,000. All things concerning magic will be voted on and may be vetoed. The game begins without magic. All countries begin with no technology whatsoever (so, worse-than-cavemen), unless you begin as a rebellion of another country in which case the other country can suppress you. You can choose to be a regular citizen rather than a ruler.
