olimar (and louie) from pikmin's home planet. their character designs makesit look like their eyes are closed but hocotatian biology actually makes their eyes extremely dilated to the point where you can't see their scleras. they can, however undilate when surprised, as seen here

You know, like how it happens when you wake up after a health amount of sleep
