Necroposting.
It is generally considered forbidden.
Yet often I, and I believe others experience this too, will find an old thread where I wish I could add something to it, and yet it is old enough to be considered necroposting.
This is very, very unfortunate, as if I ask someone if I can revive the thread, that will likely infringe upon necroposting guidelines, they be official or nonspoken.
And so, I present a standard to solve this issue.
We could implement a community system to mark (some of) our topics as necropost-friendly (of course, this will mean you will have to bare the consequences of this.), if we do not mind their resurection. Personally, I am OK with necroposting on my topics, but others also present upon them may dislike being recalled to such threads, and so marking individual topics as necropost-friendly would be perhaps beneficial to the community, in some ways.
Along with this, we can edit some of our old posts or use alternative methods, and open some of them to revival, carefully selecting which ones to mark for resurection.
I would greatly value our community's opinion on this matter, and I would like to humbly ask you to vote in this poll.

It's an emote, just in a different way, and on a larger scale. They both share the basic goal of conveying something more complex than a still emoji or, in WWWW's case, replies, and yet do not convey something so grand as to fully be an independant disscusion on its own, in a sense, therefore, while it may not be typically linked to emotes, it still is, in an artistic and spiritual sense.
