It can be most easly heard when listening to the older version of the power of spamton or while listening to a version of big shot without the main melody.
As far as i know it appears in the songs: spamton, nows your chance to be a, dialtone, big shot, and both power of spamtons.
4 notes doesn't sound noteworthy enough to consist a leitmotif to me. Do you have the timestamps where you hear them?
In “spamton” you can hear it at the very start of the song and at 0:30 in the song
In “nows you chance to be a” its at 0:22 - 0:28
And at 0:51 - 0:57 (though that one is hard to hear and I might be wrong)
In dialtone its from 0:22 - 0:42
In big shot its 0:00 - 0:13 0:27 - 0:41 1:50 - 2:03.
In the power of spamton its in 0:16 - 0:30 0:44 - 0:55
That’s all the times its used that I know of
Uh, Spamton 0:00 and NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A 0:22 background tones sound very different. Yeah there are 4 background notes, but the melody progresses pretty differently. Can you provide images of the sheet music for these specific parts?
I tried my best to find music sheets that have that part in it clearly but this is the best I could find. I really reccomend to listen to this video of big shot without the main melody https://youtu.be/t3MjgCniPYI?si=SXu3Z35iMdnTbTvz and then listen to now’s your chance to be a, and the power of spamton as it becomes pretty easy to hear then (atleast for me)
Also, I’ve looked more into it and I don’t think dialtone has it actually it just sounds a bit like it and maybe the song “spamton” doesn’t either.
