I have a Dess theory

I thought it was said on Noelle’s blog posts on Spamton sweepstakes that Raise Up Your Bat was made by Blood Crushers

Yeah

:friend:

I bet Blood Chushers is a bit of a grunge band

I bet its a rock band because
Uh...
Welp
Stereotypical 18+ violence name

It was probably their only song, after that they split up due to drama.

That's how you know we've got a REAL winner on our hands, folks!

:tennatvpose:

There's no doubt that the “little musical prodigy” Tenna is talking about is a child singing along to a song on the TV. He tells us that explicitly.

That is the language that adults use to be encouraging to a child.

Grunge was big in the 90’s and the shelter code having 199X could be about Dess’s disappearance

Yeah it’s just weird that lost girl is in the song.

I'm convinced that every single work of fiction in the world of Deltarune is ultimately based upon the Prophecy. Raise Up Your Bat can be about Dess without her even knowing it.

Makes A Lot Of Sense. Carol is a strict parent but Toriel is shown to have a stricter version of the Angel Religion so that might be a Reason toriel is against it.(Like those Christians who forbid Christian rock as it is blasphemy)(As in toriel has a concept of sin and seems to be restrictive on style, still very very loose for a Human Religion. I don’t mean social conservatism, I mean restriction.)

how do you explain among us though
unless it's about the SOUL...

I mean all the Among Us Crewmates are Sexless beings which use they/them pronouns and all phrases uses they/them instead.(They Said, They Said instead of He Said, She Said, etc.). Sounds Very Much Like Humans in The Prophecy, especially a certain treasonous lout.

Fair enough.

not so shaw if that's gender or just pronouns in that case (the voice acting...)
but, that is a weak point and I wouldn't be surprised if they were all neutrals

The voices may be of different genders but the actual characters also call themselves “Sexless, Formless Blobs”. The species is Lacking in Sex and Gender, and use they/them in all phrases. And Humans in UT/DR have different voices in a range so it still works(Even if we’ve only heard humanesque voices via The seven flowers)

This entire conversation assumes that Deltarune has the exact version of Among Us we have, and not some legally distinct version like Minecrap.

If it’s legally distinct I think it’s just more Humanoid, since humans are very weird to monsters.

ohhh
