I didn't realize Bandai Namco had the right to make Undertale merchandise

Are they licensed in Japan, so this is just a Japanese product I’m stumbling across? I really had no idea anyone but Fangamer and its affiliates could create or sell merchandise.

CLANKER! BURN HIM!

Yeah, I just researched this and either the store is selling a fake or Bandai Namco should be in trouble right now. It would be sad if it was the former, because I already bought something else from that store and I would hate if it was illegitimate.

Nope, second hand thinkers don't get to block.

I saw UNDERTALE with a Trademark sign.
Made it's resell?
(I don't know much about this brand, so...)

I literally cannot understand that sentence.

See, you need the bo-bot to summerize your sentences? hmm? need the robo fren to do everything?

Bandai Namco is a video game publisher and holds the right to make merchandise for their games like Pacman and various animes.

Given the UNDERTALE tm sign, I think it may be illigitimate. (Although I am not an official commerce expert, so take this with a grain of salt.)

Apparently this is unannounced merch? Tried to look around and it seems that since Undertale is very popular in Japan, there’s lots of merch like this, there’s even gashapon stuff like keychains sold around there…

Very very interesting economic phenomenon they have there

Ask the clanker their knowledge cutoff date

I think Nintendo would have the right to make Toby Fox merchandise. Illumination might probably also get the rights if one has to make official 3D Toby Fox animations, such as a Happy Meal promo involving Undertale/Deltarune characters.

This is real and it’s legal
This is a big company and they’re using the logo of the game and everything
Of course it’s legal
I even own some of it

Don’t waste resources getting AI to give you wrong answers to things

Don't waste resources using this website ig

Just because a company is

doesn't mean everything it does is

also, people can illegaly use logos & everything, just look at White Castle's misfortune.

Oh, sorry perfect judge of all the universe, how exactly does owning something make it's origin completely trustworthy?

Just because it's AI doesn't mean it's always wrong. Granted, it can be wrong quite often, but it's not only their verdict backing up this argument. Just because AI gets referenced in an argument, doesn't render the entire point invalid.
Additionally,

I did not shout "THIS IS FRAUD", I merely (somewhat indirectly) pointed to possible issues with this brand's usage of UNDERTALE merchandise, and if you have a reference to something officially claiming it legitimine I would be glad to hear it.

If Bandai Namco was breaking the law by doing this they would be idiots

They would be putting their company in such massive trouble and they would have to know they were doing it

They are a massive brand and they are using Toby’s logo, assets, and characters, completely unchanged for a product

It should be common sense that they aren’t doing this illegally

I didn’t say that

I didn’t say that

The AI did give a wrong answer as AIs tend to do compared to real sources and it is a waste of resources

The product in question which I own as I stated before and you dismissed has Toby Fox’s copyright printed on the bottom

But if everything else wasn’t enough for you why would this be

I guess you need an official statement from Toby or something

And that doesn’t exist

So I guess you should start writing an email to Toby right now

Tell him that Bandai Namco stole everything about his IP and made illegal merch of it and are also pretending to be able to use his copyrighted material
