In my experience, there are always 2 jokers in a deck of cards…

Oh, and, on a related note, Jevil being banished from the kingdom kind of mirrors the jokers having to be removed from the deck for most card games.

This is exactly why Jevil is truly free and the rest of the deck are the imprisoned ones. They’re all in the box of cards, but Jevil isn’t, and therefore he is actually the most free out of all the cards

Maybe it is the DevilsKnife itself? Susie does describe it as a "strange card" in ch. 4...

I figured that was because Jevil transformed into the DevilsKnife, hence “metamorphosis”

I think the red devilsknife and Jevil are seperate

  1. before the devilsknife attack with the red devilsknife Jevil says " even devilsknife is smiling" this implies they are seperate and this line is only said before the red devilsknife
  2. the card darkners are often showed to have damage so what if the second joker got ripped and red paint of some kind spilled on it, this is a classroom we're talking about
