Fun value page claims mysterygo uses the first four notes of Gaster's Theme. Do we accept this, and, if so, shouldn't it be on the gaster/mysteryman/gaster follower pages?

Fun value on UT wiki currently has this trivia point:

  • The snd_mysterygo sound effect that plays during certain events uses the first 4 notes of Gaster's Theme.

This does seem to be correct, from my research:

However, it is odd that it is only on this page. If we accept it, it should be on Gaster's page, mystery man's page, and the Gaster followers page.

Alternatively, consensus here could be that the tie isn't strong enough. Then we should remove it here. Doing neither isn't the best imo.

It is solid proof and makes complete sense. The only problem is that because this is Gaster we're talking about you need like 10 people to back you up before doing anything

Even from a production stand point it makes sense for Toby to just take something he already has and mess with it rather than make a new sound effect for something that probably won't happen in a normal playthrough

Uh, that video is kinda ridiculous, sorry. They took a 4 note sequence going 1 2 3 2, looped it, and claimed Gaster's theme? Gaster's theme has a lot more distinctive properties than just that, like the repetitions and the pitch shift.

That claim was added on July 4, while we were all busy with Deltarune. It provides no sources that we can use to easily verify the claim, and even if the claim was correct that kind of thing would be too trivial to include, since Gaster's theme is more than just 4 notes.
