For as long as I can remember, the wiki has had the article for Chapter 1's toy-themed Dark World under the name "Card Kingdom". This name is entirely conjectural, and not used by Deltarune itself, nor any of its supplementary material.
In casual conversation with other friends who enjoy Deltarune, I have seen several of them express surprise that the name is not official, a misconception surely caused by our wiki's use of the term. I believe this could be considered as spreading misinformation, and thus something to avoid.
Fortunately, we already have a solution to this problem. Chapter 1's other Dark World goes by the name of "closet Dark World" on the wiki, which, while also conjectural, is still a way better choice, as it is a neutral lowercase description rather than a title-cased name.
Therefore, I suggest moving the Card Kingdom article to "classroom Dark World" or "unused classroom Dark World" to match. This will affect its corresponding puzzles article as well.
wasn’t there a zapper in chapter 3 who talks about a pippins who is “from card castle”?

(You could argue that the zapper meant they were from the area in the dark world, but the only time ((iirc)) a pippins appears in card castle is when King gets overthrown in pacifist)

Toby seems to sometimes canonize fanon name such as Shadow Crystal bosses and Omega Flowery so we should check to see if the name could've appeared later on in a newsletter, the 6th anniversary stream, etc.
What is the problem with "Card Kingdom" exactly? And also how is that "spreading misinformation"? Card Kingdom was accepted by most of the fandom and is being used, there is no problem with this, if we follow your logic then the closet Dark World has never been used in Deltarune itself either and we are spreading misinformation by giving names to Dark Worlds. And also, even if Card Kingdom was a problem (which I don't think it is), changing the name would just cause more problems.
I like it too, but it's still a name and not a description. When you talk about Card Kingdom you don't say "the card kingdom" you just say "Card Kingdom". Also, by that logic, shouldn't it be called "King of Spades's Kingdom"?
We could move it (if so; please not "unused classroom Dark World", "classroom Dark World" is passable), but I think "misinformation" is pushing it, considering we have an explicit note saying it's not official. If the reader skips that, that's on them.
Devs should also be checked. I checked a few sites like Twitter for some, but there should be a deep check of all social media platforms like Discord/Tumblr/Etc.
I believe a check was already done some time ago, and nothing usable was found. If someone has any info, I would adore to hear it, but I am pretty sure we're empty handed on this.
The issue is that "Card Kingdom", with its title-cased formatting and use as a proper noun, mimics an official name in a way that makes it unsuitable for a conjectural one. It is also inaccurate, as the Dark World is not solely card-themed, and we lack confirmation that the entirety of it is considered part of King's domain. As Bowl_of_Curry stated, "closet Dark World" parses as a neutral description rather than a name, making it much more suitable for a conjectural article title. Though, if you have other suggestions for titles, I would like to hear them.
Almost a perfect Chara account but you forgot the it/it’s and somehow lacking quotes. But About this topic this wiki also has Flower Kingdom for chapter 5, which I don’t think was mentioned in game, but if it is then card might be a good choice for Chapter 1 as 5 and 1 reflect repeatedly.
I don't get why Card Kingdom should be replaced, in my opinion it's a short and simple name that's not only in-line with the official names of other dark worlds but also does this job great.
Yes it's true that not only cards live there, but by that logic Flower Kingdom also shouldn't be called like that because not only flowers inhabit it. And I really don't want for the latter to be called "Flower King Dark World".
As I've said Card Kingdom is a great name because it sounds short and descriptive enough. Come on guys, do we seriously need it to be called "unused classroom Dark World"? Seriously?
About the Closet Dark World... I think we just can't come up with a good name for it yet, either because Toby hasn't officially named it yet or because no one has tried to. I'm sure he'll give it a name in like chapter 7 or something. For now, it's the Closet Dark World. But we already have a nice name for the unused classroom Dark World - Card Kingdom! Why complicate things?
TLDR: it's a nice short simple name that does the job great. I'm strongly against replacing it.
It doesn't matter whether or not 'Card Kingdom' sounds good. That is utterly irrelevant
The thing that matters is that it's not in the videogame, or even any paratext relating to the videogame
So the wiki shouldn't be making things up to fill that gap. We should be staying in our lane and using bland noun phrases, because then we're not lying-by-implication that the official-sounding name is official
At a glance, 'Flower Kingdom' also seems to be made up. So 'Flower King Dark World' sounds great actually ^_^
(But even if it weren't, that'd mean absolutely nothing... 'Card Kingdom' would still be a name the fans made up, just with slightly more justification)
