This post is to explain that the number one easiest possible way to fight the knight is no longer possible. Here is the setup:
First kill everything you can. This is the biggest thing, I can only do mantleless by doing this first.
Kris: Twin Ribbon, TensionBow, BounceBlade
Susie: Dealmaker, Jevilstail, Devilsknife (bear with)
Ralsei: TennaTie, ShadowMantle, weapon doesn't matter, ragger 2, flex scarf, either is fine.
Items: Just bring a mix of mints and deluxe dinners. Revive dust is unnecessary. Specific items: Spin cake, exec buffet, tension max
Strategy: Kris should defend, and dispense items. Susie should rude buster constantly. Ralsei should defend when a single target attack is coming, dispense if not, or if tp is plentiful and a multi target is coming, attack.
Why this works. First, you know that you always need to be rude busting to progress. This is a fact. Secondly, Ralsei defending with mantle tanks more than susie not defending with mantle. This is a fact. Thirdly, susie deals way, way more damage with dealmaker and jevilstail, and will make the fight faster. This is a fact.
But Cyber, how do I get tail and knife? Well it's simple, on console, you do the bathroom glitch. But this is patched now, so this strat that let me literally afk any attack other than the homing swords and the tunnels no longer works. Sigh.
