Nari glances over at Dylan, his arms sprawled out as if dead, and legs positioned as if he was a dying cockroach. His tattered robe has turned into an excellent cloak, colored the most beautiful yellow. His dagger has turned into a most powerful machete, and a curious version of the emblem Nari has emblazoned on the center of their armor is emblazoned on the center of Dylan’s cloak. It’s just like the regular version, except with a yellow arrow flying into the Mark of The Soul, which is surrounded by the 1,000 Arms of Creation. The arrow has been shot from a bow made of chaos, its color a mix of blood red and the darkest black.
Dylan stirs, finally waking up to the strange sight.
(Dylan)”Huh. Guess we’re not in the forest anymore, right bucko?”
Nari nods their head in agreement, in awe at the fascinating world. They decide to head towards a distant village, one with houses made of bark, and roads made of mud.
When they finally arrive, they notice quite the commotion. A large, extravagantly formally dressed man, seemingly important, has taken a stand at a podium made of tree logs.
(??)”THE LIGHTNERS OF PROPHECY HAVE ARRIVED! AT LAST, THIS WORLD WILL BE SAVED!”
Nari, as well as Dylan, are confused by the speech. They don’t know why everyone is celebrating, let alone what a “Lightner” is.
They walk up to a local, and ask questions, hoping to understand the speech. Instead, she gets more questions.
(??)”OH MY, MY! THEY’RE HERE, SIR! OH GRACIOUS CREATOR, HEAVENLY THANKS FOR BRINGING THESE VALIANT HEROES!”
They both awkwardly run away, into an old and cozy library, made of the vines of overgrown trees.
(Dylan)“… Well, um… it appears we are quite the important figures, no?”
Nari nods their head in shocked agreement. They don’t know why they’re important, let alone why they’re supposedly “valiant” or “heroes”. What they do know, though, is that a resident, with baby blue skin, is quietly, kindly approaching them.
