Sarah jumps out of the water, the droplets twinkling around her like little stars before falling back into the lake. She lands onto the fresh grass, her feet (and rest of her body) dripping from the water.
Nari wipes themself after being splashed by the lake water Sarah splashed them with via jumping, and looks curiously at Sarah.
(Sarah)”…What? What’s the matter? Is it something on my… Oh! You’re probably wondering ‘how the hell is she able to breathe up here?’, aren’t you? Well, it’s quite simple really. I just make a bubble, but instead of making it outside to hold me, I make smaller bubbles inside me to clog my gills and force my way of breathing to be through the lungs.”
Nari then playfully pushes Sarah as revenge for splashing them. Sarah retaliates, pushing them playfully as well. They both do this for several minutes, the play evolving from pushing to a full blown game of tag. After everyone is tired out, they decide to rest on the sparkling, wet, fresh grass.
It turns out their rest turned into a nap, and now the sky is dark and the stars are dancing in the sky, finally having their time to shine. The sun is gone, finally tired after a long time of dancing. Nari wakes up to the sounds of the night thicket surrounding the lake, and goes to wake up Sarah, who’s sleeping rather restlessly yet comfortably. They slap Sarah softly, again, again, and again until Sarah finally wakes up, albeit a bit groggy.
Nari grabs her hand and walks in the North direction, the silhouette of a church in the distance looming over them. When they get closer, the air seems to have a faint trace of blood in its smell, and darkness seems to be leaking out of the silhouette in clouds.
When they both arrive at the Blood Church, they behold the spectacle happening before them. The large, gothic church built with bricks colored black and the stained windows normally colored with blood are now inverted. The clouds of darkness leaking out complements the appearance, making it seem incredibly more gothic than it would be without.
Without hesitation, Nari jumps in the Blood Church, Sarah being dragged behind them.
