The Crusher prepares to stomp Sarah’s head in, however it instead decides to toy with Nari instead.
(Shadow Crusher)”Oh, I’m sorry, did you want to have fun too? Here, maybe this’ll keep you entertained.”
The Crusher holds the bubble between its fingertips, nearly pinching it, and squeezes Nari.
(Shadow Crusher)”Haha! You look like a little bug squirming to escape the grasp of the exterminator. Well, little worm, let me free you from this suffering and squish you to your freedom.”
The squeezing gets worse, and Nari yells in pain as their stomach nearly deflates due to the pressure. But just then, a sudden bright glow of light forms from their soul. Nari’s appearance changes to that of an angel with no face, and their soul is at the center of the holy garment. However, it seems their voice is gone, replaced with a mysterious yet holy voice coming from…their soul?
(Shadow Crusher)”Hmm? What’s this? I see you’ve changed, or maybe, someone or something changed you? Very well. This should be satisfying.”
YOU command Nari’s body to dash towards the Crusher, preparing to slash it. YOU then form a Sword of Light as Nari’s body does the slashing motion, and prepare for an easy win.
It’s a clean slice.
The Crusher’s head falls clean off, but it’s still breathing. YOU then command Nari’s body to stab the Sword into the exposed innards of the Shadow Crusher, where a large amount of darkness seems to be leaking.
The Crusher’s body starts leaking light, as if about to burst like a water balloon, yet also similar to that of a disco ball. The Crusher starts to speak its last words.
(Shadow Crusher)”Aah… it appears I’ve been defeated. Well, then. Thank you for the battle. It’s been some time since I’ve seen my hunger for a good fight satiated, but I think I’ve overindulged. There are 5 of us left, are you ready?”
The Crusher then bursts in a huge glowing beam of a mix of shadow and light, and disappears in a cloud of dark smoke.
Nari returns to their own form, and goes to pick up Sarah’s body.
(Sarah, weak)”Heh…it seems I’m the princess now, huh?”
They both chuckle at the joke, as Nari carries Sarah out of the mines over their shoulder.
