The section on the Chapter 1 egg claims that:

If you have not defeated any enemies violently, including the tutorial battle against [Lancer]], there is a very small chance (1/50, or 2%) of entering a hidden room between the two areas

The way this is worded implies that the egg room will not appear if you have violently defeated an enemy. This is false

I got the the Chapter 1 and 4 eggs in my Weird Route Fight Only playthrough.

Only reason I didn't get chapter 3's is because Zapper and Ribbick can't be lost.
