Okay, let’s face it, we haven’t talked about this for too long.
Is Kris allied with the Knight?
Now of course, like any other case, we need some supporting evidence and some counter evidence.
Supporting Evidence
Spoilers Ahead!!!
- Kris deals reduced damage to the Knight.
- Kris is in an unknown association with an unknown caller.
- Kris does not willingly attack the Knight in the beginning of Chapter 4 in the corridor in the first Dark Sanctuary.
- Kris refuses to think about the Knight.
- Kris coughs when no-hitting the Knight (excluding damage in the final attack).
- Shelter door opens for Kris
- Kris is knighted
- Boomerang slash (Susie and Ralsei) may have been done by Kris.
Counter Evidence
Spoilers Ahead Part 2!!!
- Kris deals x2 damage to the knight for every member swooned in the chapter 3 fight, indicating they do not tolerate the Knight harming their friends.
- We can't really see that much malicious intent from Kris
Kris has made a statement regarding this case:

Based on the above details and this entire thread,
Usually, after you survive the Knight's final attack, this is the flavor text you see:
The enemy suddenly let down its guard!
At this point, hitting the Knight ends the battle, even though it still has more than half of its HP. However, if you did the entire fight without taking damage, this is the flavor text instead:
Kris coughed. The enemy slowly tilted its head...
If you didn't take any damage from the Knight, it does not lets down it's guard against you. And yet, because it received a signal from Kris, it allowed you to end the battle regardless. And the cough really is a signal. Earlier that chapter, we see Kris coughing to signal to us which is the correct answer in some of the quizzes.
There's also how Kris could open the Shelter door at the end of Chapter 3, and likely went inside after the Knight in-between chapters.

The sprite name refers to this as "knighting". So literally this:

This is one of my favorite theories. There's so much evidence in favor of it, and it being true would make a better story, in my opinion.
... And yet, I cannot ignore the fact that the sprite for the Boomerang Slash is named spr_roaringknight_slash_white_horizontal_0.
kris is on the knights side, but i think theyre being kinda forced and they dont actually want this

Everything about the Knight's conspiracy in DELTARUNE 3+4, exactly what it says on the tin. full videos 25 minutes long but he starts talking about kris like 3 minutes in
I don't believe this at all. People think Kris is working with the Knight, and that Kris is working with phone, and so they conclude that phone and Knight are either one and the same or they're working together. I find the idea that Kris is playing both sides of the conflict way more interesting.
Raise Up Your Bat might be diagetically about Dess if it's based on the Prophecy, like everything else we know about.
