So y’know Bibliox’s Proofread ACT? The one that features all those weird song titles like GALLERY, FLASHBACK, ROOTS, and GUARDIAN?
Well, that list includes some words that don’t have songs in deltarune, but one of those, AMPHITHEATER, does have an old song Toby made in 2012 with the same name. The same “made up yume nikkis“ batch that “Man/Waltz of Seccom Massada“ comes from.
This is all just a paraphrase from info I found on the wiki, but I’ve seen no one actually talk about it before.

"Roots” appearing in the act is most likely referencing the songs that have roots in the name, like digital roots and bit roots
I think that there will be a song called roots that’s the actual place, because digital roots and bit roots are in a place that looks very similar.
But it still has the potential to become its own seperate song, especially when you cosnider that chapter 5 will most likely feature a lot of the ROOTS stuff...
